Welcome to Rafter C Bulls
Rafter C Bucking Bulls is a family owned enterprise that represents a way of life for Bob Cooper and his family at a time when the rest of the world is searching for meaning.   Others may be searching but the Coopers have found it!

Rafter C Bulls was started in 1998 by Bob Cooper and is two sons Bobby and Patrick. Bob who had ridden bulls for 12 years early and had always wanted to have his own bulls to haul to rodeos and bull riding events.

After Bob retired from riding he met his wife Sandy and started a family. While Bob and Sandy were raising their children, Bob would judge bull ridings and help young kids who were starting out riding bulls.
Then in 1998 Bob met Joe Berger of the Berger Bucking Bulls when they were at a PBR event in Columbus, Ohio. Bob along with his sons became instant friends with Joe. Bob explained to Joe what he wanted to do but had no bulls to start with. Joe Berger invited Bob to come out to his ranch in Mandan, North Dakota after the PBR finals, and Joe said he would load Rafter C's trailer with 3 year old bulls to train and use.
Bob with sons Bobby and Patrick headed for North Dakota in November of 1998 and Joe loaded it with 12 Berger Bulls and Rafter C was slowly starting in the bull business.

After several years of hauling bulls Rafter C started buying their own bulls to build their own herd.
As the boy's grew older, Bob's oldest son Bobby’s focus became training pleasure horses and went on to work for Brett Parrish of Parrish Quarter Horses in Pavo, Georgia as Assistant Trainer.

On the other hand, Patrick's focus is to build up the Rafter C Bucking Bull operation to include, training bulls, develop a strong breeding program and to promote them at Classic Events.

Bob and Patrick are now partners in the Bucking Bull Business. Bob has admitted that Patrick has a real talent for handling bulls ad spotting the right bull.
